Millicent's Graduation...Class of 2012

Georgia Southern University Class of 2012.

Millicent has completed 4 years of College and is graduating with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Nutrition and Food Sciences. As a parent this is such a proud moment in our lives! Millicent has been so dedicated and determined during these 4 years at Georgia Southern. She has so much ahead of her and so many plans for her future.
As we were taking these pictures on campus that day, so many memories ran through my head. It seems just like yesterday when her Daddy and I moved her into her freshmen dorm. I will never forget the moment we were done and we had to say our good byes. Our family as we had known it for 18 years was never going to be the same again. Greg and I both cried the entire drive back home. That day I couldn't even think of 4 years passing and planning her graduation party! God has been so good to all of us during these 4 years. He has closed many doors for Millicent, but through His faithfulness & love, God has opened so many new ones in return. We are so thankful for the wonderful friends and Professors that Millicent has met while at Georgia Southern. Younglife has played a huge part in her 4 years at GSU. It has sourrounded her with Christian friends and deepened her walk with Christ.
Mill, Daddy and I are so very proud of you and love you doe decka dillion! Best wishes and congratulation on a job well done!!!

Madison & James Prom 2012

Prom season is so much fun. Beautiful girls, handsome young men, gorgeous new dresses, rented tuxes and fixed up fancy hair. Madi and James could not have asked for a more beautiful evening to have their Jr. Prom at North Gwinnett High School.
It's hard for me, as Madi's mother, to believe that it was time for her prom. Time has flown by! Madi looked absoultly gorgeous and James looked so handsome. I hope these pictures will allow them to remember this evening forever. I know they had a great time and danced the night away! Time to start looking forward to next year and start hunting for that perfect dress....SENIOR YEAR!
